  • You may have lost fat weight, but gained a little bit of muscle mass. That's GOOD. The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism. You said yourself that you feel better, so let that be your reward and keep up the great work. You will reach your goal if you keep focused.
  • Could be... Depending on how much you had to lose. You could be trading muscle weight for fat weight. Don't give up. Some people plateau for a while.
  • If it was muscle mass as you say, then when can I expect the scales to drop a bit? I weight 56 kilo and want to weight 53? That is roughly 10 pounds. Doesn't sound like allot but it is all in my stomach?
  • completely normal..i'm a former weight loss consultant and my advice is to saty off the scale for a few weeks and judge by your clothes..you can also take your measuremnts once a week to keep track of inches you are losing(best way to go especially with all the exercise you are doing). If you plateau in both areas try changing up your diet a little bit.
  • it can take a while. also muscle weighs more than fat
  • If you feel better. Ignore the scale. How you feel and look is what is important. May I ask how tall you are? Cause 56 kilos isn't very heavy. It may be hard to lose that weight as 56kg (123lbs) is a pretty healthy weight. There is a good chance you will not lose much of that weight but will simply tone and gain muscle. You will probably only go down 1.5 kgs (3 lbs) or so because of the added muscle... and if I recall from what my personal trainer told me the goal of replacing your 3 kgs of fat with muscle is actually going to take a couple months of exercise.
  • Whoa, is it a typo, are you really only drinking 1 litre of water a day? You should be drinking 3-4. Otherwise, be a little patient, healthy weight loss is only 1-2 pounds a week.
  • Its Probably Muscle mass you're gaining , you're shrinking in inches but not on the scale cause youre loosing Fat but gaining muscle mass and muscle weighs more then Fat! Keep up the good work
  • It sounds like you're off to a good start and you have kinda plateaued. That's rather natural actually. Even with weight lifting or running or whatever you kinda hit that imaginary barrier and it's hard to break through to the next phase of your personal weight loss mission. The best way to lose weight is to control your appetite and the best way to do that that I know of is with hoodia. When I was dieting (and believe me I still watch my weight even though I have achieved my weight loss goals for the most part) I realized right off that the most important thing is to control your appetite. If your stomach's not always growling and your not always craving food it is sooo much easier to stick to your guns and stay on your diet. With hoodia I would literally go a whole day sometimes and simply forget to eat and I didn't get tired and run down like diets can sometimes make you feel. Once my appetite was under control and I wasn't always thinking about eating then and only then could the weight start coming off consistently and steadily because the hoodia kept my mind off of food and I would go longer on my diet and as I did that naturally I lost weight. You have to remember that consistency is very important when losing weight. If you cut back a little on your food consumption everyday your body will change (stomach will shrink and you won't be eating as much) and with that consistency over a few days, weeks and months you will lose weight just like I did. Hoodia was my saving grace for all of these factors. Hope this helps!!! You can google: desert burn hoddia online health ; and you can read tons more info. on this!!!
  • If you had eaten a lot of meat it would take longer for you to lose that weight.
  • 2-5-2017 You need to read some books about nutrition so you know how to eat right. Calories have nothing to do with it. You should be eating about 0.4 gram of complete protein per pound of body weight every day, counting only 6 grams per egg, 12 grams per glass of milk, and 24 grams per quarter pound of meat. Eat veggies with every meal, or whole grain bread every day, to keep your bowel movements regular. Fat is made of carbon and hydrogen. The only way it comes out of the body is if it is turned into carbon dioxide and water and then it comes out through the lungs. So that involves a lot of heavy breathing, and that means jogging or aerobic dancing. Figure on losing one pound per week when you are doing things right. Covert Bailey explains this concept and his books have been popular. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_3_10?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=fit+or+fat+covert+bailey
