  • I am still a 13 year-old teen now, anonymous. I still remember that terrible incident that had happened to me though. But my face had never been the same ever again. There was a ...scar there.
  • Yes I was slapped round the face many a time, don't forget it but forget what it was for prbably my own fault I was a little s*@t, I was also smacked with a wooden pole for smoking, didn't stop me though!
  • Yer I was slapped alot, most of it not deserved and no i never forgot it but the parents i tend to ignore now. I stand on my own two feet.
  • Not slapped in the face. Smacked in the mouth. Whenever I said something inappropriate. I learned at an early age to avoid saying inappropriate things. I think of this whenever I hear kids disrespect their elders. And themselves.
  • That was painful, but I still remember the pain.
  • Yes, once my mother slapped me across the face while I was lying in bed, I was 6 and I will never forget it.
  • Yeap! I was slapped only once in my childhood,(my parents preferred "psychological" punishment) by my father. I was 8 years old and did nothing wrong... He was mad because he was arguing with my mother, I literally was in the wrong place the wrong time. I will never forget it.
  • Oh yeah. I was 13 and was extremely upset about something. I was screaming at my mother and then "SMACK!" It knocked me up against the refrigerator. I didn't scream like that anymore. If you're asking if I forgave her, yeah, just yesterday. LOL
  • No I've never been slapped. I kind of want someone to slap me so I know what it feels like.
  • My Mum slapped him in the mouth for swearing at another child when I was in Infant School.
  • No, my mother was not a hitter, and my father(pig) only hit women not kids.
  • Many times, I forgave for myself, forget, never.
  • I was slapped in the face for talking back to my mother when I was a kid. My father would hand out the punishments in the family.
  • Not slapped. I had items thrown at me and one time my father knocked me out of a chair with one punch. They didn't do much hitting.
  • Yeah, both of my parents did it. Actually, my dad would rather hit me over the head than across the face. It was my mother who slapped me....only when I was around thirteen and fourteen years old. When I was older than that, I guess she thought hitting me wouldn't do much good.
  • Hehe ....Many a times ....I used to always say 'I am not going to forget it '...but now I feel that was for my best :-)
  • i remember even ducking a few times, which only seemed to piss my mother off more lol...all in all i'm quite sure i deserved it.
  • My stepdad tried once, I dodged it like a ninja, which pissed him off worse, mom intervened then, DE-NIED hahaha
  • Not by my dad, ever. But my mom slapped me in the face when I deserved it, which I fairly often did, because I had a way smart mouth and a great instinct for just how far I could push her. Forgive her? Absolutely. She was GREAT! I learned so much from her, and had so much fun with her. She didn't damage me; it stung, that's all - and I could definitely have avoided it if I'd just have SHUT UP instead of continuing to push her buttons.
  • No one has ever slapped me, not parents or friends or spouse. I have had beer thrown at me by my father, just the liquid, not the glass. But that's the only thing that has touched my head or face in anger by someone.
  • NO,BUT I WOULD FORGET IT
  • No, never.
  • Yes, my sibling and I were struck in the face by our parents, at least once hard enough to be knocked unconscious, and no, I will never forget it or forgive it. Even though it was over thirty years ago. Violence against children is inexcusable, including your own children. It is a disgrace that the adults (neighbors, teachers, relatives) who knew what was going on failed to call the police.
  • Not only was I smacked as a child, the police were called to my house and the police then told my mother and father it was ok to smack your children! I had to go to the dentist to have my teeth filled in because they were chipped and I get a "you must have deserved it" I dont see how any child deserves any sort of smack, even if its light.
  • ya, plenty of times. some i probbaly deserved, others mabye not. i dont think it was a bad thing they did, i misbehaved a lot.
  • I had a lot worse than this growing up. Did I forget it? Not even remotely. Forgetting it, is almost like condoning to. Forgiving is a different story. I did forgive...but I will never forget.
  • Yeah, once or twice.
  • yes alllllloooooooottttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!.i kinda forgot it
  • Yes, more than once. My mother would scream at me for long periods of time right in my face and I was not allowed to say ANYTHING back. I can still feel the anger pulsating through my body. I used feel all of that anger go down through my arm and make a fist at my side. I wanted to punch her so bad, but I didn't. Occasionally, I would try to stick up for myself (verbally). That is when I would get slapped in the face. One time she even backhanded me and her diamond ring scratched my face. I am still enslaved by my hate for her and I hate feeling this way, but I will never, EVER, be grateful for being treated so disrespectfully. She made me feel like I never wanted to love anybody ever again. For those who think physically hurting children is okay, I suggest you read For Your Own Good by Alice Miller.
  • No but my sister used to dig her nails into my cheeks. I don't remember if I was annoying her or if she was just cruel.
  • Yes ive been slapped numerous times as a child. I forgave them, i was a bad kid. XD
  • Sure was, and to this day if I will go from "0" to "postal-nuclear" in a New York minute if somebody actually slaps my face, even in play. I would never do that to my own child.

  • i was more than just slapped. and no, i will never forget.
  • I was slapped a few times, for cause, but I have chosen to use it very sparingly with my children.
  • Only once. I was in High School and I said something very rude to my mother (I forgot what I said), but she marched right over to me and punched--not slapped--but punched me right in the mouth. It was awesome! I probably deserved it. The only time she ever used corporal punishment on me.
  • oh yeah, my mother used to actually say "come here and let me smack you in the mouth" and I would actually walk over to her..usually I deserved it I was being a smartass but I did quit walking over to her when I got about 12
  • I am sure that my parents did with my blunt honesty and opinionatedness, but I do not remember any of it. so either it was not that traumatic or it damaged the memory cells
  • rofl i had to get beaten with a iron fist for 5 times in the back and butt that reminds me of the bitch fight on family guy haahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha oh yeah....who's ever gotten bitch slapped?
  • obviously you didnt
  • yes I was by both of my parents. I ws a rebellious young teen at age 12, yelling and screaming. My mother was a ruthless b!tch. She was always absent in my life and never participated in anything. I was slapped for trying to go out on a weekend. I never forgave them for doing that.
  • yes...lol when i was 10 i whispered i hated her under my breath i saw her face twist in anger and she yell AYE DIOS MIO and before i could run POW RIGHT IN THE KISSER POW RIGHT IN THE KISSER lol (if anybody watches family guy Peter kept repaeting that)
  • Yes. Today I was hit across the face by my mother because I finally pointed out that I was fed up of being the scape goat for every time My sister (who has mild aspergers) has a bad turn. Which is a fair enough point. If it was supposed to make me respect her then she failed, she's a weak person and violence is always a last resort in any situation, we've had arguments before, but this was only a mild spat. She lost control of the situation and flipped. It shows poor strength of character and I believe its failure as a parent. I'm the TEENAGER I should be the one shrieking and flipping out all over the place. I had to be the adult and I said "I have no desire to be in the same place as you. I'll come home when I'm calmer." I avoided the house for nearly a month - and do you know what? I'M STILL NOT BLOODY CALMER - HOW DARE SHE?! I will never forget it. She shows me the kind of person who I will never become. I'm 16.
  • Yes.I deserved it.Forget it?No,only because I was crazy enough to tell her it didn't hurt.lol!I have had far worse things happen in my life than a slap in the face. It's not worth screaming about.
  • no never!!! I belive to hit you child its like you admitting that your child its an animal and their is not another way to communicate with it.
  • A couple of times. I got a belt across the backside far more often, but a couple of times I did something particularly inappropriate and got the Hand of Pain across the cheek. I guarantee you, I'll never do either of those things again!
  • My mom never hit me in the face, and only spanked me one time that I could remember, and even then, only at the insistence of my stepfather. He was more physical. I'm cool now about the times when I deserved it, but I recall numerous occasions when I didn't, and he was just frustrated at something else and having an unrealistically short fuse with me. Not saying it was a major swing, I'm not cool with that under any circumstances. It was just enough to sting, not like a bone-jarring haymaker to the face or anything. But even then I knew it was unfair and I remembered it. That and other things have led me to not wanting to have anything to do with the guy now if I can help it.
  • My mom hit me once, and I was angry until I realized what had happened. I had been eating chips and laughing at something on TV with my mom and I began to cough a little. She thought I was choking and got scared and yelled my name really loud. I responded with a "what the hell?" and she slapped me. I later realized she was just really worried about me at that moment and he emotions were going nuts. She and I apologized and we've forgotten all about it.
  • yes. My mother loved doing that. I will never do that to my child...ever.
  • All the time, and worse, but it gave me a high pain threshold so I wasn't bothered. I'd never hit a child myself though.
  • Slapped? My mother and I were punched and kicked, I used to laugh when slapped!
  • yes, my mother used to do that, one time i got mad when she did that and i slapped her back, im not proud of it
