  • well, I guess you'd figure out how much everyone would eat on average and then multiply by 50. You might try calling a caterer to see if they can give you an idea, they usually know things like that ;)
  • The book "Food for Fifty" might be available in your area's library system. The reason the number 50 is used: Its easier multiply for larger a larger number of guests and divide the recipes for fewer guests. If not, check with one of the schools or colleges in your area. The Chef in the cafeteria, dietician or head of the food service staff might have a copy. He or she might let you have a peek at his or her book. I THINK I used the book on one or two occasions. If memory serves me correctly, the dishes were pretty good. ANOTHER GREAT book for larger parties is "Wenzel's Menu Maker". I own this book. I let one of my best friends borrow it. If you go to that BIG book site and enter the book title "Food for Fifty" or "Wenzel's Menu Maker", you might see some other books about cooking for large groups. Thanks for asking your Q! • You may not need this anymore but someone might here's a good website for serving 50. http://www.chef-menus.com/food-quantity-chart.html
  • Depends if its men or women. I would say for juice and coffee there should be 75 incase some wants seconds. Bread atleast 2 slices per person, not sure what you gonna do with the patato as I never had patato for breakfast, sausages and eggs 2 per person if you doing poached eggs if scrambled 4 per person and bacon 4 streaks per person. That is what I would do
  • JUST ENTER 'cooking for large groups' or something similar in a search engine.....it'll all be right there for you!!! and remember to ALWAYS cook for at least 6 more people!! you never know who may show up!!!!!!!
