  • I'm not sure his death would make any difference giving the current knowledge still gives disbelief
  • No because Jesus gave His life for all and being hit by some chariot was not in God's plan for us to have salvation in Him.
  • There was a good reason for Jesus dying [ as a man ] He was SENT as a sacrifice...to PAY with his perfect life to have death removed from mankind. (Matthew 26:54) In that case, how would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must take place this way?
  • it would not have given us the truth of existence that we needed to understand.
  • Definitely! The means doesn't matter. The story is one of great love! And for the likes of ME even! A stubborn rebellious disgusting sinner! What's more, He also did this for my son and grandson! There is NO GREATER LOVE on earth!

Hi Linda,,if you admit your faults, it does show humbleness...and you become MORE acceptable to Jehovah's plan...the Kingdom... Jesus preached it...Matthew 24:14 & 28: 19,20. We should aim for accuracy, and not what the false religions state. E.G. CATHOLICS...using statues...against exodus 20: 4,5

Please stop preaching your religion at me. I'm quite satisfied with my own religion.

O.K. Linda...I will not 'call' again...but my scripturally based comments on this forum will continue...And if you disagree by an answer of your own, can you back it up with scripture...? It will be as though you are again contacting ME. cheers...pugs.

Thanks Linda, for bringing out the point that we are all sinners and not worthy of the God?s undeserved kindness.

Besides the fact he already suffered the pain of all the sins of all time in the Garden of Gethsemane before he was even crucified.
  • Jesus' whole life was one of prophecy. It was prophesied long before he made an appearance on earth how he would die.

Jesus died a sacrificial death...to :'buy back' the right for all obedient humanity to again live without death [ sin ] hanging over their heads...Adam and Eve lost it [Genesis 2: 16,17 ] and Jesus PAID...to rectify it. That it has been a long time coming is beside the point...It is soon. (1 Corinthians 15:54, 55) But when this which is corruptible puts on incorruption and this which is mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: ?Death is swallowed up forever.? 55 ?Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting??
  • John 3:16 assures us that Jesusā€™ sacrifice was part of a perfect plan that God orchestrated for the salvation of humankind. God would not have allowed Jesus to die in some random accident or in any way that was not in harmony with His will (Mat 2:13-18).

  • Well... technically he didn't die to begin with, as he was "resurrected". Thus your point is moot.
