  • You should be your own personbal decision.
  • i think they should do whatever they want to do and/or whatever their family needs them to do. btw, i believe the same goes for a man.
  • If they decide to work that should be fine -
  • I think they should choose for themselves. I would rather work than stay at home, honestly.
  • I think that it's a decision that they have to make with their partner & family. They have to decide if one person wants to stay home, and if they can support the family financially if they do so. Every decision is going to be different for every family and situation. Me personally, I would love to stay at home and raise my (future) kids. However, the cost of living in the area we wish to stay in is too high for this to be a possibility. In order to stay here and (eventually) afford a home, both my (future) husband and I have to work full time. Perhaps, in the future, he may be able to make enough to allow me to work part time - but I doubt I'll ever be able to leave my job entirely. It's disappointing, but it's the decision that will leave my family in the best financial position possible.
  • Women should work and men stay at home. If there are kids then he can get a sitter.
  • They should do whatever they can or like to do.
  • One parent should be have the chioce. Both parents have to work to be able to afford a nice life!
  • It's already been stated a few times, but women should do whatever they want to do. I feel that everyone should be treated equally and get the same rights as if there was no such thing as gender or race.
  • Thats up to every woman to decide that for them self's.. my wife work .. so no prob from me .
  • I think women should do what makes them happy and fulfilled.
  • I think women should do what makes them happy and fulfilled.
  • That is entirely up to the individual women and what life choices she makes. If she can afford to make that choice.
  • ... case by case, either way they want to choose, for what ever reasons ... some should most definately work, some should definately stay home, and some could go either way, perhaps only work part time & stay home part time ... let them each make a choice ...
  • Iam a woman and I wish i could afford to stay at home my husband had retired and I am unemployed and poor. So needs must as they say!!!
  • I would love to stay home nd not have to work, but than where would I get money from?
  • Stay home. It's not however my choice but the woman's. My wife elected to stay home and raise our kids while I was at work. We did without a lot, but I think in the end, everyone benefited.
  • I think they should do whatever they feel best. Right now I've been forced into being a stay at home mom, because it was the best thing to do financially. But overall, for me, working is better, it keeps me sane, and my kids are fairly independant so it's not a big problem. :o) Everyone is different, and has a different situation though.
  • I think if it is possible for them to stay home and they want to then they should be able to...I guess I think it should be up to them! I know if I was a mommy and my hunny made good enough money to support us I would want to stay home and take care of my babies and keep the house clean and food on the table!
  • I think women should have the choice to pursue whatever career they wish. Whether it be a housewife, or a corporate executive.
  • i think the woman in question should do whatever she chooses to do. of course in great consideration, her family situation, economic situation ect... but ultimately it is her choice.
  • That should be left for the woman to decide , yes to both depends on the situation
  • to be totally honest, i prefer when a woman stays at home, but its def up to the woman
  • (I think the people on here have it right) Women should do what they want to do (work or not.)
  • That's a very broad question (no pun intended). Unmarried women almost always work. Before getting married this is something that should be discussed. Before I got married I made sure I was in a position where my wife would not NEED to work, so it was up to her. And we agreed before getting married that she wouldn't work at least while the kids are young, before they go to school. Once they're in school, maybe some part-time work but otherwise they'll have their mom around. I think that's best for the kids.
  • They should do whatever they want.
  • what I think has nothing to do with it. They should do what they like.
  • Neither. They should be in the bed with me.:-)
  • Hmmmmm... well, I'm gonna work! ^_^
  • I am a little old fashion in somethings. I believe a women should do whatever they desire but when in a relationship I feel that the expenses should not be placed upon her. Not saying if she wants to help not let her. But the man should not expect it.
  • I think the women should do the thinking on this one...
  • She should keep her family in mind. If she has children, that should be a primary consideration. Unfortunately in this day and age, it is difficult for single-wage-earning families to survive. Without children, she should contribute however she can.
  • Whichever it is that they'd prefer to do (same with men).
  • Yes, I think women should work or stay at home.
  • I think women should do whatever the hell they want.
  • Whatever they feel like.
  • Women should stay at home, because they are constructors of the family and are homemakers. Women are light of the house. Their duty is to bear, feed and educate children. Housewife is the noblest profession for a woman. she is a goddess in the house. if she goes out,the house becomes like a temple with out a goddess. The children are spoiled ultimately. Men have to earn by their sweat and have to provide for his wife and children. Men and women are equal, but their roles are different. A family in which a woman goes out side for work, would not survive for long time. CHILDREN NEED MOTHER CARE, MORE THAN A FATHER CARE. IF SHE GOES OUT, SHE CANNOT FULFILL HER DUTIES 100% AS A MOTHER AT HOME
  • I think both man and woman should do what is in the best interest of the household. that said I believe typicaly women are better qualified in the home than men are due to evolutionary roles, however individual variation is greater than the gender based difference.
  • I don't care what women do, but when i get married, my wife will stay at home while i work and take care of things around the house.
  • depends on what they need to do, if they have a lot of kids then they need to stay home
  • Times have changed and I fully back women to work. Especially if you need two checks to live on. I believe it also strengthens the relationship more especially if you only see one another a few hours a week
  • Your question implies women who stay home don't work. That's not the case. They either work inside the home or they work outside the home
