No, because pathological liars can hide their true intentions.

Two fold answer: I believe "eyes never lie" to the extent that they are expressive to the answer your looking for but the key sometimes to the "truth" one is searching is mixed in with them and the body language to...I tell my son look me in the eyes when u speak to me....a honest, real MAN/WOMEN generally can do that...So i guess the answer is Yes sometimes the eyes alone do lie :)
-
I believe that completely but it depends on what the eyes have been given to see. One should also remember that there is a difference in what one sees and how one defines what one sees.

it's basicly true. but you can be trained to suppress your natural eye movement.

No. The experts can hide the truth.
-
no, i've known liars that had the face (and eyes) of an angel

Depends. It's been proven that eye witnesses to a crime are not 100% right at times. What I see may be completely interrelated to be something else by someone else.

a liar is a liar is a liar

No. A liar can train to see straight into another person eyes without a blink or clue that he is a liar. Also, some liars lie and believe their lie so they actually see you eye to eye but there eyes do not give them away because they believed there own lie or lost track of what lies he or she told.
-
i used to believe this but i have learned a good con scammer can lie and you can never tell, beware.
-
It is the window to your soul, But it's not only the eyes, it's the general disposition of a liar that will get them found out.
-
I don't believe ANYTHING or should I say ANYBODY never lies.
-
I believe you can tell alot by someones eyes
-
Unless you are among the wisest, my eyes can.
-
Only with some people. There are people who can look you dead in the eye and lie through their teeth. (is that a mixed metaphor?)

Its one of the first thing you are taught to watch when you are learning how to interrogate someone.
