  • I don't think so. I personally hate babies who constantly cry.It is especially hateful when babies cry in the cinema while people are watching the movie. Apart from this, babies are actually cute indeed.
  • I didn't think anyone hated babies, why would you? You were once a baby, and it sure would not have been comforting nor would you have thrived without love. Babies are awesome!!
  • I don't hate babies, but I loathe little kids. From toddlers to younger teenagers, they drive me insane. I can't stand people my own age most of the time either. But babies are harmless; they're just cute and innocent. I can understand the annoyance, though. They're messy, loud, and require about 98% of your attention. My cousin recently had a baby, and I love for them to visit, but not too often...haha.
  • I LOVE babies! I work with them every day and they are the cutest things on the universe even the crabby ones. Working there is a form of Birth control, although it does get my ovaries aching sometimes, but then I slap myself and say Diana your only 20 you don't need a baby! at least the ones at work I can give them back by the end of the day!
  • No, you're not the only person who hates babies! Sadly, some others who hate babies didn't safeguard that feeling by practicing birth control, and now have their own babies to hate and mistreat or abuse. Though these people had sex and made a life, which proves they are capable of doing something worthy in this life, they can't make love out of having brought life into the world. Instead, they punish the "blood of their blood" for a mistake they made which can't be changed now. Babies are not to be taken lighttly, without much consideration as to what's involved from their birth forward. They require 100% attention, and need constant nurturing in order to grow into healthy beings. It's not hard to have to do, but there's no time allowed to be able to recover from being "on" all the time. Sleeping has to be on guard, listening for any sound of a problem. There's nothing wrong with you knowing, or believing right now, that babies are not for you. Be sure wherever life takes you, that you are the one who gets to change your mind about babies if it happens. I mean, don't let it be someone who didn't know your feelings or got pregnant to convince you it's what you really want or just didn't practice their birth control method like they said they were doing, be the one who changes your life path for you. Be clear about your feelings for or against having babies or children, and ALWAYS USE YOUR OWN Birth Control Method, to be sure you did everything yourself to assure no accidents. Trust No One! Plenty of men haven't wanted children, but never did anything to protect themeself from being responsible for bringing yet another unwanted baby into this world.
  • can i assume that you are not are parent and therefore can't stand them. I love them, especially my two. you will change your mind if you do get to experience your own!
  • A close friend of mine doesn't like little kids. I don't think there is anything wrong with that even though I love them. At least she was smart enough not to have any children. On the other hand there are people that work in the children's hospital that I vol. at that obviously don't like children. My question is why are they working with them.
  • I don't really hate them. I just don't like them. At all. I'm ok with kids, because I use my 'extreme parenting' stuff (put a wash basket on top of them and a brick on top of that, sit em in front of the telly and they'll be fine). Kids like me because you pull my hair and it springs right back again, which is apparently very funny. Once they get past 2, I'm good. I am fantastic at dealing with bratty kids. But I still pretty much loathe them.
  • I don't hate babies. I am totally uncomfortable around them because they are so helpless and fragile. Their wobbly little heads freak me out and believe it or not, I don't ever think I changed a diaper in my entire life. I like toddlers very much but when they master the word "no", they lose their charm.
  • I don't know how anyone could hate babies, but I know there are people out there who do. I just love the smell of them, the way they make you just want to love and protect them, I even like changing nappies. I think that our society as a whole loves babies, you only have to observe the reaction of people when a baby is hurt or murdered, public outrage is very apparent. Baby's are a new beginning, a new start and need our love and protection. I think when someone says they hate babies, it is just the messy bits they don't like, but the baby itself can melt any heart.
  • Nah. I disliked babies for a while. I mean, what's the hype? Something that can't communicate other than by screeching? Ick. But now, I'm singing a different tune. The motherly hormones are kicking in and I am gradually warming up to infants...
  • No, you aren't, but that doesn't mean it is common, either. I think that the level of aversion to babies has a lot to do with age and maturity. I certainly had no intention of EVER having "one of those" when I was 16 or 17.
  • No - I'm right up there with you. BUt they grow on you! Or is it that they grow into fine young kids. I'm very proud of mine and love them to bits but can't honestly say I enjoyed the baby period! Now (they are 11 and 12) I would not change them for the world and thank God I have them! Cheers.
  • No you're not the only one!! I know a lot of ppl who would rather gouge out their own eyes than be left with a baby!! Theyre a huge responsibility and your life would never be the same after having them!!!! But I love babies, theyre just so cute and vulnerable and I just wanna hold them close!! I cant wait to have babies but I also wanna sort out the rest of my life before i can take on something so life-changing!! xx
  • Gosh, hate is a strong word. I do not hate them, but I am certainly not fond of them or any wee ones for that matter. No, I do not have children and no, I will not have children. I simply do not possess the amount of patience it takes to be a parent. Nor am I am willing to make any of the necessary sacrifices--or at least the ones I saw my parents make (I love them dearly for it though!). To be perfectly honest, perhaps I am a little wary of children because I can't have any. I could at one time and I still didn't desire or like them at that point either. You know what I really hate? Irresponsible parents.
  • Sadly, no.
  • To answer your question probably not. Although is it the babies you hate or their actions? Love the player hate the game you know. Secondly, from reading all of your comments to other people it sounds like you have baby issues. Perhaps it is your very young age talking. Or did you knock some girl up and now you are mad about it?
  • I know people who can't stand babies. I think that parents might consider that before obnoxiously sticking their kid in someone's face and expecting the person to ooh and aah over the kid. They shouldn't need the approval of others anyway. I, personally, like babies. I'm just saying that people should be aware that not everyone does.
  • I'm not crazy about babies, don't like being around them, and I don't want kids. I'm not comfortable around children. I've never been a very maternal type. (Never ask me to babysit.) But I don't HATE babies. I don't hate any children, even if I don't like being around them. I think people who really hate children are very, very evil. Children are innocent, and there is no reason to hate them. They're too young to do anything evil to anyone. But there are people who hurt them and abuse kids and even kill them, and leave babies in dumpsters and abandon them. They are the people who hate babies. I don't like hanging around kids, but I'm not ever going to do anything to hurt them. So, no, I don't hate babies.
  • I actually like babies. But my brother on the other hand.... ... honestly I find it hard to believe that I could possibly share the same mother with someome who could come up with such cruel and evil things to say about... not just babies but a living creature in general... I mean. Go ahead. Dislike them. Hate them if you must... but... never mind. I won't mention what he's said in the past. In any case, I actually just DO NOT like small children between the ages of 4-9. They're arrogant little things and stuck up too...
  • When I was younger, I did hate children. After some psychoanalysis, I figured out why and released it. I don't want any children (babies), but now I appreciate these mini humans and enjoy being around them occasionally.
  • I'm not a big fan of babies. To be honest they annoy me a bit by being so helpless and needing constant attention. Once they get a bit older and start talking and doing stuff for themselves they can be kind of cute (as long as you get to give them back to their parents after an hour or so!), but not actual babies. So it seems you're not alone.
  • i cannot imagine what you are feeling. my ex-wife would agree with you. i was a stay at home dad.i can't remember anything they did to make me use that word. well, maybe what was in the diaper sometimes! my 2 sons filled me with too much love and hope.i hope you will look deep in your heart and try to ghange the way you feel. but i understand you may have good reasons for your feelings.
  • I certainly do not HATE babies but I am afraid I am not one of these women that go ga ga and coo all over them. They do not DO anything except the usual. I prefer children when they are a little older and have developed a personality and a curiousity about the world around them
  • For what reason do you hate babies? suppose someone had said this, about you? you may have never have been born and able to ask this question. Babies are beautiful, time consuming, and noisy. You are in a small minority, very small minority, that hates babies. how do i know? look around at the population explosion. A lot of people love a lot of babies. Sorry you feel this way.
  • Well, I know I loved my own when they were babies. I still like babies but only when their parents are around so if they go poo or start crying I can hand them back. Been there and done that but don't want to do it for someone else's kids. Also, while some babies are cute some are just downright ugly. Then you feel obligated to say "oh what a cute baby" when in fact it's face is all bruised and mashed from being shoved out a hole the size of a lemon and it looks worse than the Elephant Man. I don't hate babies, but I am glad my kids' baby days are over!
  • Hate, maybe you are the only one. But I certainly don't like the way everybody goes nuts over them. I have a more personal reason to despise the little blighters. My mother-in-law blames my wife and I for her feelings of worthlessness because her siblings (my wife's aunts and uncles) have 10+ grandchildren each and we haven't given her any. After a few years of, "When are you gonna...?", I grew to resent anybody under the age of 4. At this point, anything that pisses her off is a good thing ;)
  • Probably not, but I adore babies.
  • I don't hate babies, but I am uncomfortable with them and that would be my major reservation about becoming a father.
  • i don't hate them, they make me nervous, and i have to remind myself that they are my friends' son/daughter in order to find something to connect with in them. when i was younger i used to... and i still find not much of interest in them. i would NEVER have one myself; it's never even been an option for me in my opinion.
  • Well hate maybe, but intimidated by them, no.
  • No i am sure you are not the only one, when i was younger i hated babies, now i have 2 kids under 2, go figure.
  • I will probably love my own, I like other peoples babies when they are clean and smiling in their baby way. But not when they live in the flat below you and wake you up by crying ever 3 hours, how's a girl to get any kip?
  • i cant say that m a baby fan... What with the permanent crying it's enough to drive anyone nuts! Personally, i prefer puppies!
  • No, but I don't hate babies. I hate the fact that they need all of youre undying attention even when you're not in the mood for them. But other than that babies are cool, cuddly, and cute. I plan to have one in like 5 years if life goes right for me by then. Being pregnant and giving life to someone seems amazing to me. That is IF you can take care of the child you brought into this world.
  • how can you say that...hate is very powerful word and there is no baby out in the world who could possibly do anything wrong to you to take you to that extreme. you can say you dont have patience for babies or something similar...but no, alot people find themselves not wanting kids because they dont think they'll be able to handle it. you are not alone but i think banies are the sweetest thing.
  • No no...I don't particulary like them raw - but spit roasted and with a sweet chili dipping sauce...they are much better....
  • I don't hate babies. I'm just completely uncomfortable around them. I think they take a great deal to care for. And they can be disgusting. The cuteness factor, I don't see. My "mommy drive" is pretty much in neutral. I hate that babies are a reminder of what women go through to have them. I don't hate babies. I just hate having to deal with even the thought of having them. I also don't hate mommies, just hate that some of them like to point fingers at me for my desire to be child-free. I might be jumping to conclusions, but I think you just might feel the same.
  • not at all! i don't like them very much! all they do is poop cry and eat!
  • No I hate them also. They taste like dirty diapers.
  • no i highly doubt it. but it's probably a "minority" group of people who actually hate babies
  • their meat is so tender, and hard to grill, unless you grind it and add an egg and some bread crumbs...
  • Babies are vile, good for nothing creatures. They have almost no conversation skills, they lay around and never get jobs, and when they want something they just scream at the top of their lungs until they get what they want. They don't even say what they want, they just keep screaming until you figure it out. They're the thorn on the sidewalk of society, I say. I'm not sure why I say that, but who cares?
  • I know what you mean. I know I'll love my own kids but always lacked interest in other people's babies, like all the girls in school would run and want to see the baby if a teacher brought one in to show and I didn't want to. I was usually the only girl that didn't want to hold the baby. Is that kind of what you're saying?
  • Bringing an innocent child into this world is one of the cruelest acts any human being could do. I told a pregnant coworker that once...it didn't go over well *shrug*. I guess I can ask her for a hindsight opinion in 17 yrs.
  • In general there's no reason to hate them. Properly prepared (possibly seared on both sides the baked with a demi-glaze) and served with fava beans and a bold red they can be quite good.
  • No. I know many people who hate babies. I personally love them.
  • no, i do not hate them i just can live without them too
  • I know a few people who dislike them.
  • No but I'm not about to say anything...just that women are "supposed to" love babies and not think of them as horrible reminders of the childbirthing experience and that they stretch the mother's emotions and energy to the limit. But I don't think they're demonspawn. Really.
  • Depends on how they are prepared.
  • Of course not. I definitly hate babies and children.
  • yes u r
  • Maybe your parents aren't crazy about kids. Dunno.
  • nope..I hate babies, toddlers, kids, teenagers and most adults too! I can handle any of them in small doses but I don't have any kids, don't plan to either...they annoy the heck out of me. I like my life as a middle aged man just me and my gf and no brats crying and such
  • Wrong. I hate them too.
  • Kathy Griffin says she hates "kids"...so, no, I guess you're not alone.
  • Have you tried them in a nice mushroom sauce with a bottle of dark beer!!!!! delicious.....
  • lol no kids aren't for everyone just don't try to kill it when it's out the womb
